What We Deliver

Agent Deployment
We deploy the Datadog agent via Helm (Kubernetes), Ansible (VMs), or cloud integrations (AWS, GCP, Azure). Agent configuration includes container log collection, live process monitoring, network performance monitoring, and custom check configuration. DaemonSets on Kubernetes ensure every node is instrumented. Agent resource limits prevent monitoring from impacting application performance.
APM & Distributed Tracing
Application Performance Monitoring traces requests across services, databases, caches, and external APIs. We instrument your application with Datadog tracing libraries (dd-trace for Node.js, Python, Go, Java, etc.), configure service catalog entries, and set up trace-to-log correlation. Sampling rules balance trace visibility with ingestion costs — 100% for errors, configurable rates for success.
Log Management
Log pipelines parse raw logs into structured data with extractable attributes. Filtering rules exclude noisy logs (health checks, static asset requests) before indexing. Log patterns identify recurring messages and reduce volume. Exclusion filters and retention policies control costs. Logging without Limits lets you keep all logs in archives while indexing only what you query.
Cost Optimization
Datadog costs can spiral quickly. We implement: custom metric reduction by aggregating before submission, log volume management through filtering and sampling, APM ingestion controls via sampling rules, and host count optimization by excluding ephemeral CI/CD runners.
