DevOps for Crypto & Web3 Projects

Crypto projects need infrastructure that traditional cloud setups don't account for — blockchain node management, RPC endpoint scaling, smart contract deployment pipelines, indexer infrastructure, and secure key management. We implement DevOps for Web3 with the same rigor we apply to Web2 — automated, monitored, and production-hardened.

Web3 Infrastructure Challenges

Crypto projects face unique infrastructure needs: running and syncing blockchain nodes (hundreds of GB of chain data), scaling RPC endpoints for dApp frontends, deploying and verifying smart contracts across networks, indexing on-chain events for backend consumption, managing private keys securely, and handling the extreme traffic spikes that come with token launches and NFT mints.

Node Infrastructure

We deploy and manage blockchain nodes (Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, and others) on dedicated hardware or cloud instances with NVMe storage for chain data. Nodes are monitored for sync status, peer count, and block lag. Automatic peer management and snapshot-based fast sync reduce recovery time. Archive nodes are provisioned when historical state access is required.

RPC Endpoint Scaling

RPC endpoints are load-balanced across multiple nodes with health checking and automatic failover. Caching layers (Redis or Varnish) cache static responses (block data, transaction receipts) to reduce node load. Rate limiting per API key prevents abuse. WebSocket connections are managed with connection pooling. We support both self-hosted nodes and hybrid setups with fallback to Alchemy/Infura.

Smart Contract CI/CD

Smart contract deployment pipelines run Hardhat/Foundry tests, gas estimation, and security analysis (Slither, Mythril) in CI. Deployments to testnets run automatically on push. Mainnet deployments require multi-sig approval. Contract verification on Etherscan/block explorers is automated. Deployment artifacts (addresses, ABIs) are versioned and published to your frontend build.

Key Management & Security

Private keys for deployer wallets, relayer wallets, and treasury operations are stored in HSMs or cloud KMS — never in environment variables or config files. Multi-signature wallets require multiple approvers for high-value transactions. Transaction signing is isolated in a dedicated service with audit logging. Hot wallet balances are maintained at minimum required levels.
