Managed Hosting with Monitoring — Proactive 24/7 Server Surveillance
Monitoring is not optional — it is the foundation of reliable hosting. AnubizHost managed hosting includes comprehensive 24/7 monitoring that checks every critical metric every 60 seconds. When something deviates from normal, our team responds immediately. Most problems are resolved before you even know they existed.

Comprehensive Metric Collection
Our monitoring stack collects hundreds of metrics from every managed server. Infrastructure metrics include CPU utilization per core, RAM usage and swap activity, disk I/O latency and throughput, network bandwidth and packet rates, and filesystem space utilization. Service metrics cover web server connections, database query performance, process counts, and application-specific health endpoints.
Metrics are collected at 60-second intervals and retained for 13 months, giving you both real-time alerting and long-term trend analysis. All metrics are accessible through a web dashboard where you can view current status, historical graphs, and comparative analysis across time periods. We also support custom metric collection for application-specific data points you want to track.
Intelligent Alerting and Thresholds
Raw monitoring data is only useful with intelligent alerting. We configure alert thresholds specific to your server's workload profile. A server that normally runs at 70% CPU does not get the same thresholds as one that normally runs at 15%. We baseline your server's normal behavior during the first week of management and set thresholds that detect anomalies without creating alert fatigue.
Alerts use multiple severity levels: warning thresholds trigger investigation during business hours, critical thresholds trigger immediate response 24/7, and emergency thresholds trigger automatic remediation plus engineer notification. Our alerting system includes hysteresis to prevent flapping — a metric must stay above the threshold for a sustained period before an alert fires, and must stay below for a sustained period before it clears.
Uptime and Availability Monitoring
Beyond server-level metrics, we monitor your services from the outside. External probes check your website, API endpoints, and other public-facing services from multiple geographic locations every 60 seconds. This detects issues that internal monitoring might miss — DNS failures, certificate problems, CDN issues, or network routing problems that affect reachability without affecting the server itself.
We monitor HTTP response codes, response times, SSL certificate expiration, DNS resolution, and TCP connectivity. Multi-location probing eliminates false positives caused by localized network issues. If our Amsterdam probe reports your site down but our London and Frankfurt probes say it is up, we investigate a routing issue rather than alarming you about a false outage.
Dashboards, Reports, and Trend Analysis
Your monitoring dashboard provides real-time visibility into server health. Customizable panels display the metrics that matter most to your operation. Color-coded status indicators give you an instant health overview — green for normal, yellow for warning, red for critical. Drill into any metric to see historical data, overlay events (deployments, configuration changes), and compare across time periods.
Monthly monitoring reports summarize key metrics: uptime percentage, average response time, peak resource utilization, alert history, and trend analysis. Trend analysis is particularly valuable — it shows when you are approaching capacity limits weeks or months before they become problems. We use these trends to proactively recommend upgrades, optimization changes, or architectural modifications that prevent performance issues before they occur.
