Managed SSD Hosting — NVMe-Powered Servers with Full Administration
Storage performance defines server performance. AnubizHost managed SSD hosting runs exclusively on enterprise NVMe drives that deliver over 500,000 IOPS with sub-millisecond latency. Combined with full server administration, you get a blazing-fast server that somebody else keeps running perfectly.

Enterprise NVMe Storage Performance
Every managed server at AnubizHost runs on enterprise-grade NVMe SSDs — Samsung PM9A3, Intel DC P4610, or equivalent data center drives rated for high endurance and consistent performance. These are not consumer SSDs repackaged for servers. Enterprise NVMe drives maintain their performance specifications under sustained load, include power-loss protection capacitors, and carry rated endurance measured in petabytes written.
Performance numbers that matter: sequential read speeds exceeding 6 GB/s, random 4K read IOPS above 500,000, and average latency under 100 microseconds. For database workloads, this translates to queries that complete in microseconds instead of milliseconds. For web applications, it means page generation that is never bottlenecked by disk I/O.
Storage Optimization as Part of Management
Fast hardware is only half the story — proper configuration unlocks its full potential. Our management includes storage optimization tuned for your workload. We configure the I/O scheduler (mq-deadline for databases, none for NVMe-optimal workloads), adjust filesystem mount options (noatime, discard for TRIM), and set up appropriate readahead values.
For database servers, we configure InnoDB to leverage NVMe performance with appropriately sized buffer pools, optimized flush methods (O_DIRECT), and tuned I/O capacity settings. PostgreSQL gets configured with effective_io_concurrency values that match NVMe capabilities. These are not default settings — they are specific optimizations that make a measurable difference in query performance.
RAID Configuration and Data Protection
Dedicated servers use hardware or software RAID configurations tailored to your requirements. RAID 1 for maximum redundancy, RAID 10 for the best combination of performance and protection, or RAID 0 for raw speed when redundancy is handled at the application layer. VPS instances run on storage pools with built-in redundancy that protects against individual drive failures.
Every RAID configuration is monitored continuously. Our management platform checks drive health via SMART data, monitors RAID array status, and alerts on predicted failures before they happen. When a drive shows early warning signs — reallocated sectors, increasing error rates, abnormal temperature — we schedule a proactive replacement during a maintenance window rather than waiting for a failure during your peak traffic hours.
Storage Scaling and Expansion
As your data grows, your storage grows with it. VPS instances can increase storage allocation without migration — we resize the volume, extend the filesystem, and your application sees the additional space immediately. Dedicated servers can add NVMe drives to existing RAID arrays or add new storage volumes for specific purposes like database storage, media files, or backup repositories.
For applications with large storage requirements, we configure tiered storage architectures. Hot data lives on NVMe for maximum performance. Warm data migrates to larger SATA SSDs that offer more capacity per dollar. Cold data archives to object storage or off-server backup destinations. We automate the tiering with scripts that move data based on access patterns, keeping your NVMe storage focused on the data that benefits most from its speed.
