Dedicated Servers

Managed Offshore Dedicated Servers

Not every customer wants to manage their own server. AnubizHost's managed offshore dedicated servers include comprehensive server administration — OS updates, security patching, performance monitoring, firewall management, and 24/7 proactive support — so you can focus on your applications while our engineering team keeps your infrastructure secure, updated, and running at peak performance.

What Managed Hosting Includes

Our managed hosting service covers everything from initial server setup to ongoing maintenance. When you order a managed dedicated server, our team handles the complete configuration: operating system installation and hardening, firewall setup with sensible default rules, SSH key configuration, automatic security updates, monitoring agent deployment, and initial performance tuning based on your intended workload.

Ongoing management includes operating system patches and security updates applied within 24 hours of release for critical vulnerabilities. Non-critical updates are batched and applied during your designated maintenance window to minimize disruption. Our monitoring system checks over 50 metrics — CPU, memory, disk, network, service status, certificate expiration, and more — with automated alerting that pages our on-call engineers for any anomalies.

You still get full root access to your server. Managed hosting does not mean locked-down hosting. You can install software, configure applications, and customize your server however you want. Our management layer handles the infrastructure concerns — OS-level security, patching, monitoring, and hardware — while you focus on the application layer. If you make a change that breaks something, our team is available to help you diagnose and fix it.

Security and Hardening

Server security is a continuous process, not a one-time configuration. Our managed service includes initial hardening based on CIS benchmarks for your operating system: disabling unnecessary services, configuring sysctl parameters for network security, setting up fail2ban for brute-force protection, enabling audit logging, and configuring a host-based firewall with rules tailored to your application's requirements.

We deploy and maintain intrusion detection systems that monitor for suspicious activity on your server. File integrity monitoring detects unauthorized changes to system binaries and configuration files. Log analysis watches for patterns that indicate compromise attempts — repeated authentication failures, unusual process execution, or unexpected network connections. When our systems detect a potential security incident, our team investigates immediately.

Regular security audits are part of the managed service. We periodically review your server's configuration against current best practices, check for outdated software packages with known vulnerabilities, and verify that security controls are functioning correctly. Audit reports are provided to you with recommendations for any changes that could improve your security posture.

Monitoring and Incident Response

Our monitoring infrastructure checks your server every 60 seconds for availability, performance, and health metrics. We monitor CPU utilization, memory usage, disk space and I/O, network throughput and errors, RAID array status, drive SMART metrics, service availability, SSL certificate expiration, and custom metrics specific to your application if requested.

When monitoring detects an issue, our automated system first attempts self-healing — restarting failed services, clearing disk space from log rotation, or triggering other predefined remediation actions. If automated remediation does not resolve the issue, an alert is escalated to our on-call engineering team, who respond within 15 minutes for critical issues and 60 minutes for non-critical alerts.

Incident management includes root cause analysis for every significant event. After resolving an issue, our team documents what happened, why it happened, and what preventive measures we have implemented to avoid recurrence. These incident reports are shared with you through your account dashboard, giving you full visibility into the health and reliability of your infrastructure over time.

Managed Service Tiers

Our Standard Managed tier covers operating system administration, security patching, monitoring, and 24/7 emergency response. This tier is ideal for customers who are comfortable managing their own applications but want to offload the operating system and infrastructure layer to professionals. Response times are 15 minutes for critical issues and 2 hours for routine requests.

The Premium Managed tier adds application-level support. We install, configure, and maintain popular server software including web servers (Nginx, Apache), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), control panels (cPanel, Plesk, CyberPanel), and other common server applications. Application updates and performance tuning are included, and response times are faster: 10 minutes for critical issues and 30 minutes for routine requests.

Both tiers can be added to any dedicated server in our catalog, from budget entry-level machines to enterprise multi-processor servers. The managed service fee is a monthly add-on that scales with the complexity of your setup. For customers with multiple servers, we offer fleet management with centralized monitoring, coordinated patching, and single-pane-of-glass visibility across all your infrastructure. All managed servers maintain our DMCA-ignored policy and cryptocurrency payment options.
