Every Windows dedicated server from AnubizHost includes a genuine Microsoft Windows Server license. We offer Windows Server 2019 Standard and Windows Server 2022 Standard as our primary options, with Datacenter editions available for customers who need unlimited virtualization rights or advanced features like shielded VMs and Storage Spaces Direct. The license cost is included in your monthly server fee — no separate license purchase required.

Our Windows Server installations are activated through Microsoft's Volume Licensing program, ensuring full compliance and access to all Windows Update channels for security patches and feature updates. You receive full administrator access to the server, just as if you had installed Windows on your own hardware, with the ability to add roles, install software, and configure the system without any restrictions.

For customers who already own Windows Server licenses through their own Microsoft licensing agreements (BYOL — Bring Your Own License), we can install a clean Windows Server build without our license and you apply your own product key. This option is available for organizations that have Software Assurance with License Mobility rights, potentially saving the monthly licensing fee.

Every Windows dedicated server includes Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) access for graphical administration. Connect to your server from any device using the built-in Windows Remote Desktop client, a Mac client, or open-source tools like FreeRDP or Remmina on Linux. RDP provides a full graphical desktop experience with support for file transfer, clipboard sharing, audio redirection, and multi-monitor configurations.

For administrative efficiency, we pre-configure Windows Remote Management (WinRM) for PowerShell Remoting, enabling you to manage your server programmatically using PowerShell scripts.
