1. Download Tails from tails.net (official site)
2. Verify the download using the built-in verification tool on the website
3. Flash the image to a USB drive (8GB minimum) using balenaEtcher or dd
4. Boot from the USB drive (change boot order in BIOS if needed)
5. Select "Start Tails" - it connects to Tor automatically

USB requirements: 8GB minimum, USB 3.0 recommended for speed. Tails will erase everything on the USB drive.
