Offshore Jurisdiction

AnubizHost operates exclusively in offshore jurisdictions (Iceland, Romania, Finland, Ukraine) that do not recognize or enforce DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) regulations. We are not subject to US copyright law.

Our Position on DMCA Requests

We do NOT process DMCA takedown notices.

As a hosting provider operating outside US jurisdiction, we are not legally obligated to comply with DMCA requests. Such requests will be:

  • Acknowledged but not acted upon
  • Forwarded to the customer who owns the content
  • Kept on file for our records

Important Notes

  • •DMCA-ignored does NOT mean "anything goes". Content must still comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • •We will respond to valid legal orders from the jurisdictions where our servers are located.
  • •Users are responsible for ensuring their content is legal in the server's jurisdiction.

For Copyright Holders

If you believe content hosted on our network infringes your copyright:

  1. Understand that we operate outside DMCA jurisdiction
  2. Contact the content owner directly (we can provide contact info)
  3. Seek legal remedies in the jurisdiction where our servers are located

Sending DMCA notices will not result in content removal. We recommend working directly with the content owner or pursuing legal action in Iceland, Romania, Finland, or Ukraine.

While we don't act on DMCA notices, we recommend:

  • Understanding the risks of hosting copyrighted material
  • Being aware that copyright holders may pursue other legal avenues
  • Knowing your responsibilities under local laws
  • Maintaining good security practices
