Ethereum Node Hosting on Offshore Dedicated Servers

Operating a full Ethereum node is a disk-heavy, bandwidth-hungry workload that quickly exhausts shared VPS plans. AnubizHost provisions dedicated bare-metal servers tuned for Ethereum execution and consensus clients, with NVMe RAID storage, unmetered 1 Gbps uplinks, and offshore jurisdictions outside the FATF and MiCA dragnet. Pay with BTC, XMR or USDT, no identity check, no KYC paperwork.

Why Ethereum Full Nodes Need Dedicated Hardware

An archive Ethereum node now consumes over 18 TB of state and historical data, growing by roughly 80 GB per month. Pruned full nodes still sit around 1.2 TB and perform constant random reads against the state database. Shared virtualization platforms with noisy neighbors, network-attached storage, or thin-provisioned disks simply cannot keep pace with the IOPS requirements of Geth, Nethermind or Erigon. Disk I/O contention manifests as slow block validation, missed attestations on the consensus client, and eventual chain reorganizations under load.

AnubizHost dedicated servers ship with enterprise NVMe drives in RAID 1 or RAID 10 configurations, sustained sequential throughput above 6 GB/s, and random 4K read latencies under 100 microseconds. The disk subsystem is yours alone. There is no hypervisor scheduler stealing cycles, no balloon driver compressing your RAM, and no shared SAN backend introducing tail latency. For Erigon in particular, where the BoltDB-style storage engine punishes slow random writes, dedicated NVMe is the difference between syncing in two days and never syncing at all.

Memory allocations of 64 GB to 128 GB are standard on our blockchain tier so you can comfortably run an execution client alongside a Prysm, Lighthouse or Teku consensus client on the same host. Dedicated CPU cores prevent context-switch stalls during heavy block import bursts and let MEV-aware operators run additional sidecars without performance regressions.

Offshore Jurisdiction and Crypto Payment Workflow

Our Ethereum node fleet lives in Iceland and Romania, two jurisdictions that have historically resisted aggressive crypto regulation. Neither location forces hosting providers to log on-chain RPC traffic, neither participates in the 5/9/14-Eyes intelligence sharing arrangements at the hosting layer, and neither has implemented MiCA-style obligations on infrastructure providers. The result is a hosting environment where running validator infrastructure, MEV searchers or experimental DeFi tooling is treated as an ordinary compute workload, not a regulated financial activity.

Billing accepts Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and stablecoin transfers via Plisio and NowPayments. There is no fiat conversion, no card processor in the loop, and no requirement to attach a verified identity to your hosting account. A valid email and a paid invoice are all that is required. Renewal invoices are issued 7 days in advance and your server stays online as long as the wallet payment is confirmed on chain.

For operators worried about jurisdictional risk, we also offer split-deployment patterns where execution and consensus clients run in different countries connected via WireGuard, eliminating single-jurisdiction failure modes. Our network engineering team can scope multi-region peering at no additional infrastructure cost beyond the second server lease.

Supported Clients and Operator Tooling

We support every mainline Ethereum execution client: Geth for compatibility-first operators, Nethermind for Windows-friendly stacks and Plonky2 prover workloads, Erigon for archive operators who need the smallest disk footprint, Besu for enterprise audit trails, and Reth for operators tracking the bleeding edge of Rust-based clients. On the consensus side Prysm, Lighthouse, Teku, Nimbus and Lodestar are all fully supported.

Operators can install MEV-Boost, eth-docker, DappNode or roll their own systemd-managed setup. Our base image ships with a hardened Ubuntu 24.04 LTS configuration including UFW, fail2ban, automatic security updates and a non-root sudo user. Optional add-ons include Prometheus, Grafana and Loki for full observability of slot timing, attestation effectiveness and resource saturation.

Beyond mainnet, our dedicated servers happily host Holesky, Sepolia and Hoodi testnet nodes for protocol developers, plus Layer-2 sequencers and proposer infrastructure for Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Linea. If you need a custom kernel for io_uring tuning or transparent huge pages disabled for database workloads, that is a 5-minute support ticket, not a 3-week change request.
