AWS/Azure/GCP are all US-controlled entities. They are subject to the US CLOUD Act, which allows US law enforcement to demand data from US companies' servers regardless of which country the servers are in. This applies even to AWS EU regions (Frankfurt, Paris) - they are still subject to US law because AWS is a US company.
