Inference: input audio uploaded to FI, streamed to NL, converted, output streamed back to FI for retrieval.
Latency
FI-NL hop 30-35ms. For training (30-60 minute runs) this is irrelevant. For inference (1-5 second clips), the hop adds 70ms to round-trip - perceptible but not disqualifying for non-real-time use cases.
