Onion Site Hosting on Offshore Anonymous VPS

Provisioning is automated. You select a plan, pay with Bitcoin or Monero, and receive root credentials within a few minutes. We can pre-install Tor, Nginx or Caddy, and a basic onion v3 configuration on Debian or Alpine at provisioning time. The first time the Tor process starts it generates a new onion v3 address that you control entirely. You can also import an existing key by uploading the HiddenServiceDir over SCP after the initial boot.

For vanity onion v3 addresses we ship mkp224o pre-compiled in our utility image. Vanity generation is GPU friendly; an entry tier VPS will find a short prefix within hours and a longer prefix within days. We do not retain a copy of any generated key.

Many operators host the same content on clearnet and on an onion address simultaneously. We support that workflow with reverse proxy templates for Nginx, Caddy, and HAProxy that rewrite absolute URLs at the edge so visitors on the onion never see an .onion-to-clearnet redirect. The Onion-Location header is configured to advertise the onion address to Tor Browser users automatically.

You can publish multiple onion addresses pointing at the same backend, useful for sub-brands, language variants, or temporary campaigns. Each address has its own configuration block and can be retired independently. OnionBalance instances can be added later if traffic outgrows a single Tor process.

Operating an onion site is a marathon. Threat models change, adversaries change, and an early operational mistake can haunt the project for years. AnubizHost designs the hosting relationship to minimize linkability over time: we accept crypto payments through privacy preserving processors, we do not require name changes when payment methods rotate, and we never push email marketing or upsell calls to operator accounts.

If an operator account is compromised we support full migration to a new pseudonymous account, transferring services without forcing the operator to disclose the old identity. Billing history can be wiped on closure, leaving only minimal accounting records as legally required in the hosting jurisdiction. The onion key never has to move; only the billing relationship changes.
