No Logs VPS Hosting With Minimal Hypervisor Telemetry

No logs is widely claimed and rarely operationalized. AnubizHost runs the minimum logging needed for fraud and abuse handling, does not inspect tenant traffic, and does not bundle third party telemetry on customer VPS. The operational posture matches the marketing claim, which is more than most providers offer.

Start a Brief

What No Logs Means in Practice

Every provider runs some logs. The honest question is what is logged, how long it is retained, and what triggers disclosure. AnubizHost logs only the minimum needed for billing reconciliation and abuse handling: account creation events, payment events, and abuse complaints that we receive. We do not log tenant traffic, do not inspect packets in transit, and do not collect access logs from inside customer VPS.

The hypervisor side telemetry is limited to the metrics needed to keep the platform running - CPU and disk usage at the VM level, not application telemetry. That distinction matters: knowing that a VM is at 50 percent CPU is operational data; knowing what processes are running inside it is surveillance.

No Third Party Telemetry on Customer VPS

Some providers install platform agents on customer VPS by default. Those agents typically collect detailed process and network telemetry and forward it to the provider or third parties. AnubizHost does not. Every VPS is delivered as a clean OS image with no provider agents installed, and customers have full root to verify that the system is exactly what they expect.

If a customer wants to install their own observability stack, that is their choice. We do not push agents, and we do not phone home from inside customer environments. The substrate is clean.

Disclosure Posture and What We Will Not Do

The corollary of minimal logging is a clear disclosure posture. We respond to valid legal process in the jurisdiction where the server lives and do not voluntarily disclose customer data on informal request. Because the data we retain is minimal, the scope of any disclosure is also minimal. There is no rich telemetry dataset to hand over, because we never collected it.

Combined with crypto billing, the result is a deployment where even a successful disclosure request yields little useful information about the customer. That is the operational meaning of no logs - not just the marketing claim.
