Optimism Node Hosting on Offshore Dedicated Servers
Optimism OP Mainnet RPC operators need disk space for state, low-latency L1 Ethereum peering and predictable uptime. AnubizHost provisions op-geth and op-node ready dedicated servers in offshore jurisdictions with NVMe storage, unmetered bandwidth and crypto-only billing. Run RPC infrastructure or sequencer-adjacent services without surrendering your identity.

op-geth and op-node Resource Profile
Running an Optimism node requires two paired processes: op-geth, a fork of Geth with Optimism-specific execution logic, and op-node, the rollup driver that reads L1 Ethereum data and feeds derived blocks into op-geth. Combined resource demand is 4 to 8 CPU cores, 16 to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB to 3 TB of NVMe storage for a pruned full node. Archive operators need substantially more disk, with 4 TB to 8 TB typical.
AnubizHost blockchain-tier servers ship with at least 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of NVMe storage by default, with larger storage tiers available for archive operators. The bottleneck for Optimism nodes is usually random disk read latency during state queries, which makes NVMe RAID 10 the recommended configuration for RPC providers serving wallet and dapp traffic.
Co-locating a full Ethereum L1 node alongside your Optimism stack is a common optimization that cuts L1 read latency to near zero and removes the dependence on third-party L1 RPC providers. Our dedicated hosts have enough capacity in CPU, RAM and disk to run both stacks on a single chassis if storage budget allows, or split across two dedicated hosts in the same datacenter connected via private 10 Gbps interconnect.
RPC Throughput, L1 Reading and Fault Proof Readiness
Optimism RPC operators serving wallet and dapp traffic need consistent throughput and low response latency. Our blockchain-tier hardware sustains tens of thousands of RPC calls per second on a well-tuned op-geth instance, with optional 10 Gbps uplinks for high-traffic public endpoints. The op-node component's job is to read L1 Ethereum data and derive L2 blocks, so its performance is directly tied to L1 RPC latency.
With the Optimism fault proof system now in production, operators running infrastructure that participates in or verifies fault proofs need extra L1 connectivity and CPU headroom. Our blockchain-tier servers comfortably handle the additional workload, and we can scope custom configurations for operators planning to run challenger or proposer infrastructure as part of the OP Stack ecosystem.
Network connectivity matters: our Iceland and Romania datacenters carry sub-50 ms RTT to major Ethereum bootnodes and Optimism batch poster infrastructure. Unmetered 1 Gbps uplinks are standard, with 10 Gbps available as an add-on for high-throughput operators serving public RPC traffic.
Offshore Posture, OP Stack and Crypto Billing
The OP Stack has become the foundation for an expanding superchain ecosystem including Base, World Chain, Mode, Zora and many others. Operators who plan to run nodes across multiple OP Stack chains benefit from consolidating their infrastructure with a single hosting provider that understands the OP Stack workload profile. We can scope multi-chain packages and provide unified provisioning across our two datacenters.
Offshore hosting in Iceland and Romania keeps your OP Stack operation outside the regulatory pressure forming in the EU and US around L2 infrastructure. Neither jurisdiction has classified RPC operation as a regulated financial activity, which keeps your hosting bill firmly in ordinary infrastructure rather than triggering financial-product compliance obligations.
AnubizHost billing supports OP, ETH, BTC, XMR, USDT and other majors through Plisio and NowPayments. No card processors, no fiat conversion, no identity verification beyond a working email. Provisioning starts within minutes of on-chain confirmation and renewals continue as long as the wallet payment lands on chain.
