Scope Minimization Starts With Network Design
The single highest leverage PCI work is keeping your cardholder data environment small. A VPS that exposes only what your CDE needs - one application port behind TLS, no shared management plane, no platform telemetry - is dramatically easier to scope than a managed service that injects agents and monitoring. AnubizHost VPS instances are delivered as bare Linux with nothing extra. You install only what you need, document it, and your assessor has a short surface to inspect.
Private networking between VPS in the same datacenter lets you put the cardholder application on one VPS and the database on another without exposing the database to the public network. That single design choice removes a common scope expansion vector.
Dedicated IPs and TLS Without Interference
Shared IPs and shared proxies are not compatible with most PCI deployments because they make TLS termination and access control harder to reason about. Every AnubizHost VPS includes a dedicated IPv4, and additional IPs are available as needed. You terminate TLS where your design says you should, with certificate material you control end to end.
We do not run a managed WAF on your traffic by default. If your design includes a WAF, you deploy and configure it yourself, and your assessor can read your configuration without having to chase down provider managed components.
Billing Outside the CDE
Crypto billing keeps your relationship with AnubizHost completely outside your cardholder data environment. There are no card numbers exchanged with us, no PAN data crossing our billing layer, and no merchant processor in the loop. That removes a common source of accidental scope drag where hosting invoices end up touching PCI scoped systems.
For teams running an audit, a short subprocessor list and a clean billing path with no card data flow simplify the documentation effort considerably. AnubizHost adds infrastructure; we do not add scope.
