Installer

OIDC or SAML 2.0 via the Admin Portal. Tested with Keycloak and Authentik (self-hosted IdP) and with Azure AD or Okta (commercial IdP). Enterprise licence required for SSO functionality.
Encryption Truth
Vault items end to end encrypted. MS SQL holds ciphered blobs. Server admins cannot read vault contents. Metadata is visible. SSO does not change vault encryption; the master password still derives the unlock key.
Backups
./bitwarden.sh backup nightly, encrypt with age, restic to Anubiz Host Iceland. Retention 14/8/12. Restore drill monthly on a throwaway VPS.
