KYC requirements in hosting are a relatively recent phenomenon, driven by payment processors rather than genuine security needs. When you pay with a credit card, the hosting company is forced to verify your identity because their payment provider demands it. When you pay with cryptocurrency, that requirement evaporates - but many hosts still collect identity documents out of habit or laziness.
AnubizHost rejects this approach. We believe that your identity is irrelevant to providing hosting services. A server does not care who provisioned it. Bandwidth does not flow faster because the customer uploaded a passport. The only purpose of KYC in hosting is creating a database of customer identities that can be stolen by hackers, subpoenaed by governments, or sold to data brokers.
By eliminating KYC entirely, we eliminate that risk. We cannot leak data we never collected. We cannot be compelled to hand over identities we never verified. Our customers are protected not by promises, but by the architecture of our onboarding process.
