Offshore VPS for a Crypto OTC Marketplace Platform
You are not running one OTC desk - you are building the platform on which many OTC desks list and match counterparties. The platform takes a fee per match, holds escrow during settlement, and provides dispute resolution. The threat surface is larger than a single desk: you have many counterparties, large aggregate positions, and you become a target for both regulators and attackers. This page describes the Anubiz offshore VPS configuration for a marketplace operator.

Platform architecture
An OTC marketplace platform typically has: matching engine and order book, multi-counterparty escrow service with on-chain custody (multisig or threshold signing), KYC and reputation database, fiat-onramp connectors if applicable, an admin and moderation dashboard, a public web interface, and a customer notification system. This decomposes into 3 to 5 VPS for a small platform and to a dedicated cluster for a large one. Anubiz handles both ends of the size range.
Sizing
Starting deployment: web frontend on a 2 vCPU 4 GB VPS, application layer on a 4 vCPU 16 GB VPS, Postgres on a 4 vCPU 16 GB VPS with NVMe storage, escrow signer isolated on a 2 vCPU 4 GB VPS with minimal external network exposure. Add Redis and a job queue worker as the load grows. Production-scale deployments use dedicated servers with bare-metal CPU performance and 10 Gbps uplinks.
Anubiz binding
Anubiz offshore VPS plans from $17.90/mo, marketplace-suitable plans from $39.90/mo. For higher tiers, see our dedicated server offerings. Romania and Iceland are recommended jurisdictions. Crypto payment, no KYC, dedicated IPv4 on all plans. Internal links: /en/hosting-for-crypto-otc-trading-desk, /en/hosting-for-crypto-p2p-marketplace, /en/anonymous-vps.
Boundaries
Anubiz is not a regulated entity in any jurisdiction relevant to your customers. Anubiz does not provide AML or KYC services. Anubiz does not custody your customers' funds. The legal compliance posture of your marketplace - whether and how you comply with FATF, FinCEN, MiCA, or local equivalents - is entirely your engineering and legal work. Hire a regulatory lawyer before launching.
