Inventory the Scaleway Instance
From the Scaleway console or with scw instance server list, note the instance type (DEV1-S, GP1-XS, PRO2-XXS, etc.), zone, attached volumes, security group rules, and flexible IPs.
Scaleway DEV1-M (3 vCPU, 4GB) maps to AnubizHost VPS III. GP1-XS (4 vCPU, 16GB) maps to VPS V. Open a sales ticket for custom matching.
Provision AnubizHost Target
Order offshore VPS in Romania, Iceland, or Netherlands. Replicate Scaleway security group rules with ufw or nftables. Install matching packages.
Scaleway Object Storage migrations follow our Object Storage migration guide - it's S3-compatible and migrates with rclone.
Sync Filesystem and Databases
Standard rsync from running Scaleway Instance. For database workloads, run pg_dump or mysqldump and restore on target. Initial sync runs hours in advance, delta sync immediately before cutover.
For Scaleway Block Storage volumes, mount on source and rsync each to corresponding target location.
DNS Cutover and SSL
Flip A/AAAA records. Re-issue Let's Encrypt. Verify. Keep Scaleway running 7 days as rollback. Decommission via console - instances first, then volumes, then flexible IPs.
Scaleway bills hourly with capping; decommissioning is fast and prorated.
