A single headless Chromium instance uses around 500MB to 1GB of RAM under typical scraping load. Running 10 concurrent instances needs 8GB to 16GB of RAM with proper shared memory configuration. Selenium remains the most widely supported library for legacy testing setups and integrates with Java, Python, and C# stacks. Each worker handles a single browser context, processes one job at a time, and releases resources cleanly between jobs.
