Migrating a STRATO VPS to AnubizHost

From the STRATO panel, capture the VPS tariff (e.g. V20, V40, V80) and corresponding vCPU/RAM/disk. STRATO V40 (4 vCPU, 8GB, 240GB SSD) maps to AnubizHost VPS III. Note any add-on backups or additional IPs.

STRATO often pre-installs Plesk - if you use it, you'll need to install Plesk on the AnubizHost target and use the Plesk Migrator to pull domain and mailbox configurations across.

Order an offshore VPS matching the STRATO spec. Pay BTC or XMR. Activation is automated. SSH in, install matching packages, replicate firewall rules.

If Plesk is in use, install Plesk on the AnubizHost target first: sh <(curl https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer). Once Plesk is running, use the built-in Migrator to pull configs and data from STRATO over SSH.

For non-Plesk installs, standard rsync from the STRATO VPS:

For Plesk-managed VPS, the Plesk Migrator handles users, domains, databases, mail, and DNS in one operation. Estimate 2-4 hours for a 10-domain setup.

STRATO operates DNS for many customer domains - export zones from the STRATO panel and re-create at your chosen DNS provider (Cloudflare, Bunny, etc.). Lower TTL 24 hours ahead, flip records at cutover.

Re-issue Let's Encrypt on the new host. For wildcards or many domains, automate with certbot-dns-cloudflare or your DNS provider's certbot plugin.
