At checkout, you see the current exchange rate and the amount due in your chosen currency. Exchange rates are fixed for twenty minutes from invoice generation.

Bitcoin is the most common payment at AnubizHost. It provides pseudonymous payment and is the most widely available cryptocurrency. Monero provides genuinely anonymous payment through its cryptographic privacy mechanisms and is the recommended choice for clients with maximum payment privacy requirements. Ethereum and Litecoin are available for clients who prefer these currencies for their own reasons.

We do not accept traditional payment methods - no credit cards, no bank transfers, no PayPal. This is a deliberate choice, not an oversight. Cryptocurrency-only payment is part of our commitment to providing an end-to-end privacy-respecting service. A service that accepts crypto for hosting but requires a credit card for payment provides much weaker privacy than one that is crypto-only throughout.

Chain analysis tools can sometimes link Bitcoin addresses to real-world identities when coins passed through KYC exchanges. For most clients, Bitcoin pseudonymity combined with no-KYC hosting provides adequate privacy. For higher threat models, additional steps like using non-KYC Bitcoin or mixing services improve privacy.

Monero provides mathematical anonymity. Ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT make Monero transactions unlinkable and untraceable by design. No chain analysis firm has successfully traced Monero transaction flows. A Monero payment to AnubizHost creates no on-chain record linking your wallet to our payment address. For maximum payment privacy, Monero is definitively the strongest available option.

Ethereum and Litecoin have transparency properties similar to Bitcoin - pseudonymous by nature, with public transaction records. They are acceptable for clients who hold these currencies and prefer not to convert, but neither provides the privacy properties of Monero.

The payment process is identical regardless of which cryptocurrency you choose. Select your plan, configure your server, proceed to checkout, and select your preferred currency. A payment address and invoice amount appear on screen. Open your wallet application, send the payment, and wait for blockchain confirmation.

Confirmation times vary by currency. Bitcoin confirms in approximately 10-60 minutes depending on network congestion and transaction fee. Monero confirms in approximately 2-4 minutes due to its shorter block time. Ethereum confirmation is typically 15-60 seconds but varies with network conditions. Litecoin is similar to Bitcoin but with approximately four times faster confirmation.

After confirmation, provisioning starts automatically. VPS instances are typically ready within minutes. Dedicated servers take two to four hours. You receive server credentials via the messaging channel you specified at checkout. No additional steps, no manual review, no delays beyond the technical provisioning time.

Renewals at AnubizHost are invoice-based. Before your server's next billing date, you receive a renewal invoice via your contact channel. Pay the invoice with cryptocurrency using the same process as your initial order. Your server renews after payment is confirmed.

There are no automatic charges, no stored payment methods, and no card-on-file. If you prefer to pay monthly in advance you can - simply pay the renewal invoice when it arrives. If your circumstances change and you do not renew, your server is deprovisioned after a grace period without any penalties or collection attempts.

Long-term clients who prefer to pay multiple months in advance can do so. Contact our billing team to arrange advance payment for three, six, or twelve months at your preferred exchange rate. This approach reduces the frequency of payment transactions and provides certainty about your hosting costs over a longer period.
