Stable Diffusion GPU Hosting Routed via Finland
Finland is the most privacy-friendly Nordic jurisdiction for hosting, and our Helsinki VPS fleet handles CPU-bound workloads beautifully. For GPU-heavy Stable Diffusion inference we do not currently stock RTX 4090 inventory inside Finnish datacenters - GPU traffic from FI customers is routed to our Romania or Netherlands GPU pool over private link. End-to-end latency from Helsinki to our Bucharest GPU pool is 35ms, which is invisible for typical SDXL generation requests.

Why Finland for the Control Plane
Finland's data retention regime is among the lightest in the EU and the country has a long track record of not honoring extraterritorial subpoenas without proper MLAT process. For artists who want the control plane (the ComfyUI interface, the auth proxy, the generation queue) to sit in a strong privacy jurisdiction while the raw GPU compute runs wherever there is capacity, Helsinki is a sensible front-end.
Our Finland VPS plans run on AMD EPYC with NVMe and 1Gbps unmetered. The ComfyUI process can run locally on the FI box (using a remote compute node via the comfy-cli remote backend pattern) or you can use it purely as a TLS-terminating reverse proxy in front of the GPU pool.
GPU Availability Honest Disclosure
We do not currently have RTX 4090 stock in Finland. Adding GPU SKUs to our Helsinki facility is on the roadmap for late 2026 contingent on power and cooling capacity. Until then, GPU workloads originating from Finland customers route to our Romania (4090, 3090) and Netherlands (4090, A5000) pools.
This is not a vGPU share or oversold setup - you get a dedicated 4090 in RO or NL, with the control surface (HTTPS, SSH, optional Tor onion) terminated on your Helsinki VPS. Network latency between FI control and RO/NL GPU is 35-50ms, well below human-perceptible delay for image generation.
Hybrid Workflow Setup
The setup we ship: WireGuard tunnel from Helsinki to Bucharest GPU host. ComfyUI on the Helsinki side talks to a stateless GPU worker process on Bucharest. The Helsinki box stores your prompts, your generation history, your LoRA collection. The Bucharest box does the CUDA work and stores nothing persistent.
This pattern is documented in our knowledge base and we set it up for you at provisioning. If you prefer to run everything on a single GPU box in RO or NL directly, just pick the Romania or Netherlands SD page instead.
When Finland Origin Matters
If your buyer or audience needs to see Finnish jurisdiction on the WHOIS or rDNS - say you publish galleries under a finnish-language artistic identity - the FI front-end matters. Reverse DNS to a .fi or generic European hostname, IPv4 originating from a Helsinki AS, all visible to your visitors and to anyone scraping your gallery URL.
For most artists the location of the control plane is invisible. If that is your case, the Romania or Netherlands GPU page is simpler and ~$10/mo cheaper.
Order Flow and Honest Latency Math
Pick the FI GPU plan, pay in crypto, your FI control VPS provisions in 15 minutes and the GPU worker comes online 5-10 minutes after. End-to-end first-generation latency is typically 90 seconds from prompt submit on your laptop to image return: 35ms FI-RO + 30s SDXL inference + image transfer + UI render.
