Hetzner Romania Alternative for Offshore Workloads

Hetzner's terms permit suspension for many reasons that aren't obvious to customers:

• 'Suspicious' billing patterns: Crypto payment, multiple sign-ups from same IP, prepaid in advance for many months. Auto-flagged.
• Adult content: Officially permitted but practically auto-flagged when ANY abuse report arrives.
• Tor exit nodes: Permitted only with prior approval, often denied.
• VPN endpoints with high egress: Tagged as 'unusual usage' and reviewed.
• IPTV streaming infrastructure: Almost always suspended on first complaint, even from non-rightsholders.
• File sharing platforms: Auto-suspended on volume of DMCA-style requests, regardless of validity.
• 'Anonymized' or pseudonymous accounts: Auto-flagged for KYC review even when payment is legitimate.

5. Cancel Hetzner: After 48h of stable operation on the new VPS.

Honest take: Hetzner is the better choice when:

• Your workload has zero copyright/abuse exposure: pure SaaS, internal tooling, B2B applications
• You're optimizing pure $/GB or $/CPU at scale: their volume pricing beats us at 50+ servers
• You need deep EU-Western connectivity: Frankfurt presence is excellent for that profile
• You're comfortable with mainstream cloud terms: standard AUP, KYC, card payment

If any of those apply, stay with Hetzner - we don't want to overstate our advantages. We're the better choice specifically for workloads where the risk of mainstream-cloud suspension is real, and where the customer values privacy/anonymity at mainstream pricing tiers.
