KYC - Know Your Customer - is a regulatory requirement imposed on financial institutions and, increasingly, on technology companies. It requires businesses to collect and verify identity documents before providing services. A hosting company with KYC requirements will ask for a passport, driver's license, or other government ID before activating your account.
AnubizHost does not apply KYC requirements to server orders. The only information you provide is a cryptocurrency payment and an email address for receiving your server credentials. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, nationality, or any identifying document. Your email address does not need to be associated with your real identity either - a Proton Mail or Tutanota address works perfectly.
This is not a technical loophole or a gray area in our policy. We have deliberately built our business model around no-KYC service delivery because we believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature to be granted at a provider's discretion.
