Linux Offshore VPS: Full Root Access, Your Distro

AnubizHost offshore VPS supports a range of Linux distributions selectable at provisioning: Debian 11 and 12 (LTS), Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 8 and 9 (RHEL-compatible), Rocky Linux 8 and 9, and Fedora (latest stable). Additional distributions including Arch Linux and Gentoo are available on request for technically advanced users.

All distributions are available as clean minimal installs - no hosting control panel pre-installed, no bloatware, no automatic software beyond the base system. You control the software stack entirely from the first boot.

Full root access means you have unrestricted control over the operating system. Install custom kernels, load kernel modules, configure iptables or nftables, run Docker, set up KVM (nested virtualization where supported), compile software from source, and configure network interfaces exactly as needed.

There are no control panel restrictions, no pre-approved software list, and no restrictions on services you can run. If it runs on Linux and is legal in the hosting jurisdiction, you can run it on an AnubizHost VPS.

Typical Linux workloads deployed on AnubizHost offshore VPS include: web servers (Nginx, Apache, Caddy), application servers (Node.js, Python/Django, PHP-FPM, Go, Rust), database servers (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis), containerized deployments (Docker, Docker Compose, Podman), Tor relays and exit nodes, OpenVPN and WireGuard VPN servers, and streaming servers (Nginx-RTMP, Icecast, FFmpeg pipelines).

For security research, network monitoring, and penetration testing applications, full root access to an offshore VPS is essential. Common tools including Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, and similar are installable without restriction.

Select your preferred Linux distribution at checkout alongside your offshore location and plan tier. The system provisions a clean install within five minutes of payment confirmation. SSH root credentials are delivered to your account dashboard - connect immediately and configure your environment.

SSH key authentication is supported (recommended over password authentication). You can upload your public SSH key during order or via the control panel before first boot. Plans start at $19.99/mo with 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 30GB NVMe. Crypto accepted, no KYC.
