Crypto Exchange Hosting in Romania for MiCA-Era Operators
EU MiCA regulation became applicable December 2024 for crypto-asset service providers. Romanian hosting offers EU jurisdiction with cost efficiency well below Frankfurt or Amsterdam colocation, with sub-20 ms latency to the major EU liquidity venues. Suitable for CASP-registered exchanges, OTC desks and crypto-aware fintech.

MiCA and CASP compliance
MiCA (Regulation EU 2023/1114) sets the framework for crypto-asset service providers across the EU. CASP authorization is now required to provide crypto services to EU consumers from December 30, 2024 (with grandfathering until July 2026 for incumbents). Romania transposed via local CASP authorization through ASF. Hosting in Romania does not authorize you under MiCA; it places your infrastructure in a member state aware of and compliant with the regulation.

Pricing
Single-node EPYC $269/mo. Production cluster (order book + custody + API gateway) $899/mo. Related: bulletproof hosting, Switzerland alternative, OTC desk.
